I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Concordia University, Canada, under the supervision of Dr. Szilvia Papai. As a doctoral researcher, graduate student mentor, and teaching assistant at Concordia University, I have developed a strong foundation in both research and teaching. My doctoral thesis is on matching theory and market design. I enjoy conducting research and creating an engaging classroom environment that supports students as they develop their curiosity and skills in economics.
I also bring over five years of prior university-level teaching and mentoring experience, having served as a full-time faculty member at several institutions before joining Concordia. My research background includes leading and contributing to projects funded by various organizations, including the Government of Bangladesh. These experiences have strengthened my interest in applying economic theory to real-world issues and collaborating with others.
I am eager to contribute this expertise to my future academic workplace, where I aim to excel as both an educator and a researcher.Â
My research interests:
Matching Theory, Market Design, Microeconomics
Financial Economics
Econometrics
